My main issue is that close to expiration Kaspersky was urgening me to renew at 2-3x higher price than available at Amazon. After I pucrhased an Amazon product to renew (but it apparently should), it was unclear if it will be enabled in the end of the prior coverage because I would keep receiving annoying pop-ups how many days I have left and directing me to renew at much higher price. For this marketing move from Kasperky alone I am taking 2 stars off! Otherwise, it would be a fine protection with good value for money.

Aboiut 10 years ago, Norton proved unable to remove an infected file. Kaspersky was rated best security by both PCMag and CNET’s reviews at that time; I switched, it cleaned up my machine, and I’ve used Kaspersky Internet Security since then. Numerous infected files, phishing attempts, and dangerous websites have been noted and stopped from doing any damage. For those who fear Russia-headquartered Kaspersky may be dangerous, as the U.S. government has done, think again. Since forever the world’s hackers and IT folks have tried to discover a security-has-been-breached backdoor in Kaspersky . . . so far, FAIL. Anyhoo, it works. Some leading competition doesn’t work as well or, as I noted above, at all.

I’m sure the Russians worked hard on this. But I can’t trust it. I got it because I thought the subscription included a VPN, which it does to a limited extent. i.e. that which you can already get for free from their website, supposedly.

Over the years I have tried every antivirus in the market and lost computers with all of them, not with Kaspersky. You can get better deals here on Amazon than with their site. You’ll never get an infection or trojan with this one.

Been using this for years and will continue to do so. Last I looked it was the 2nd best you could get and the reason for number 1 spot had something to do with big business applications. It’s recommended by NPR and geek squad that is until they broke ties with them. This is an amazing product. It runs in the background and monitors anything that is bad for your pc. If something should attempt to hack you the program stops it in its tracks, lets you know, and protects you without any actions on your end. Just install, keep subscription up to date, and that’s all you have to do. .

Works like a charm. Good value for the money. My only complain … link to the free version of security suite (you have to download/install it and then enter your license code to redeem your service) wasn’t easy to find. If you have any other version of software besides security suite, you will have to uninstall that and then install free version of the 2021 suite. After installing there was no hiccups

Comcast had free norton anti virus.. And it took forever to get it off my computer.. It kept popping up on my screen to download it? it was uninstalled by kapersky.. Yes it was i checked..but they have a sneaky file in users that was a real pain to get rid of.. NEVER USE NORTON AGAIN.. Took hours to get rid of hidden file… Plus they want credit card on file.. No way you get that from me..Used kapersky before, I like it.. Im back.. has a lot of user features norton did not.. NORTON you suck.. I want to be paid for the time lost getting you off my computer after you were uninstalled.. I never want to see your pop up again ever.. Amazon was a breeze to download and install Kapersky. love it..

I’ve always wanted to compare Kaspersky v. Bit Defender and finally did, for a week and switched back to Kaspersky. Bit Defender was feature rich with a lot of tools and very intuitive but it was also more of a burden on my system. I never notice when Kaspersky is working in the background like I did with Bit Defender. I’m glad I did the comparison and I know for me which I like more.

Not sure its as helpful as we need does it prevent someone frm wifi jamming? Or does it just cause a problem for you to send emails with attachments?Not sure its effective as they claim also no way to turn it of if u need to.

A few weeks ago I purchased this 1-year activation code to renew my expiring Kaspersky Internet Security subscription and it worked perfectly. Got the activation code in Amazon under Your Account – Digital Games and Software (also in the email from Amazon); logged in to My Kaspersky, went to Licenses, entered the new code under Add Activation Code at the bottom of the screen, and then selected the Device to send the code to. When my old subscription expired a few days ago, the new activation code automatically showed up as active with the correct new expiration date. Very easy. Kaspersky is good protection and I’m set for another year.

I spoke with three different techs today re: download issues and one yesterday re: download. The tech people were very nice and they said an engineer would get back with me via email to resolve the rest of the problem and that was 8 hrs. ago. Hopefully tomorrow the email will come since I’m sick of all the computer jargon. They came in remotely since I’m not a techie, for sure. I finally got the email and they want me to fix the problem that was the issue I first called about. Two days ago they came in remotely to fix it and were unsuccessful. I need them to solve this and I will have to hassle with it and another phone call. I was on the phone with them 2 days ago for an hour and 30 mins. I am so frustrated!! I bought this cuz their reviews are good but now I don’t know………

I’ve used Kaspersky for years with great success but Kaspersky’s recent ‘Activation’ method is a complete foul up of something that was…we, just easy.I waited a full day for the product to be registered before I could click the ‘Activate Product’ link I got from Amazon via email. The link takes you to the Kaspersky website (where you now have to have an account) and once in my account, there was no activation code!!! Spent an hour talking to a clueless CS agent at Kaspersky who eventually said she would send me the product key but sent me a link to renew my account password instead.As I put in the headline, the software works well but you’d better hope you don’t have to interact with their agents because you won’t get much sense from them.

Have used Kaspersky on the past and loved the product however I sadley could not use it with my new laptop as the windows 10s program prevents you from installing any program not downloaded from 5he microsoft store so word of caution before proceeding with purchase!!#

Not being a Novice, ( having worked in IT for over a dozen years ), it was easy enough to install and use this software. Overall, I would give this software package 4 out of 5 stars, due to the “non-match up” of the “metering-scale” of completion time when running any lengthy scans using this software. It is a little bit “dis-concerting” to have to wait until 1/3rd of the scan is completed before seeing “any” indication of completion on the “metering-scale”. ( Scale goes from zero to 35%, with nothing in between, before giving a “correct” reading. ) But this is just a technical issue that does NOT affect overall operation.
